Paragon Medical | Nanas Interior Design Singapore

An orthopaedic surgeon sought a clinic design with two consultation rooms, prioritising natural light and patient comfort. The design focused on bold, unconventional aesthetics and the Japanese concept of "Arinomama." The clinic featured clean white walls, a soothing light blue ceiling, and a striking blend of carpet and wood tiles on the floors. The clinic's logo colors were seamlessly integrated, and a lively orange accent was added. LED lighting was incorporated into the carpentry, ensuring a functional yet visually appealing and welcoming medical space for patients.

Plaza Singapura | Nanas Interior Design Singapore

The client, a Japanese shoe store, prides itself on offering high-quality, affordable shoes made in Japan. Their dedication to sustainability and using animal-free, low-maintenance microfiber materials sourced from Japan is not only environmentally conscious but also supports the struggling Japanese shoe industry. The store aims to create a feminine and welcoming atmosphere that encourages customers to feel at ease and spend time relaxing. The design concept, inspired by the tale of Hansel and Gretel "finding something in the woods," manifests a clean and inviting environment. Predominantly featuring wood and white elements, the design incorporates a green color to infuse a sense of comfort and freshness. To enhance the relaxed ambiance, wall and pendant lights illuminate every shelving unit, highlighting the array of shoes on display. The overall atmosphere is both feminine and welcoming, in alignment with the client's vision. The facade stands out with a unique arch lattice design on the doors, adding a touch of distinctiveness and charm. This Japanese shoe store strives to not only provide high-quality, affordable footwear but also to create an inviting and comforting space for customers to explore and relax while supporting Japan's diminishing shoe-making industry.

Mount Alvernia Hospital | Nanas Interior Design Singapore

Transforming a shared clinic space utilised by four doctors, the focus of the renovation was on revitalising the consultation rooms and invigorating the reception area. The primary goal was to cultivate a clean and calm ambiance conducive to healing. To achieve this, a strategic shift was made in the choice of materials, transitioning the existing cabinet materials to lighter shades, introducing a sense of freshness and luminosity to the space. Simultaneously, the flooring underwent a transformation, now featuring a soft and lighter material that not only enhanced the overall aesthetics but also contributed to a serene and welcoming atmosphere. The comprehensive approach to the clinic's redesign aimed to create an environment that not only meets the functional requirements of medical practitioners but also prioritises the well-being and comfort of patients in a bright, soothing, and refreshed setting.

Japanese BBQ Restaurant | Nanas Interior Design Singapore

Gyukaku, the well-established Japanese BBQ restaurant in Singapore with a long history and 20 outlets, sought a renovation with two primary goals. Firstly, to increase visibility and attract more walk-in customers, they aimed to create an impactful façade. Secondly, they wanted to diversify their customer base by designing an atmosphere that appeals to both Japanese and Western diners. The design concept aimed to maintain the brand identity while introducing new elements, creating a unique and immersive dining experience. It incorporated high ceilings, celebrated the brand's KAKU elements, and blended Japanese and Western styles. The base color, inspired by charcoal, added a refreshing touch to the ambiance, ensuring Gyukaku's continued success and distinctiveness

Traders' Office - An Interior Design Project by Nanas Design Singapore

Client is an Indonesian trading company specialised in metal. They have been growing exponentially, and was in urgent need to relocate to house their new team members. 3 areas were required - 1. the visitor component for meeting rooms and VIP area, 2. the executive office component for the CEO and CMO and top traders rooms, and 3. the staff room, which must have an open workspace with a meeting room and a break room. The staff are young and vibrant, and they expect to have guests frequently so the meeting rooms and VIP rooms should have a sense of luxury and solidity. We took care to mix the youthfulness and luxury together to make it their own.

313 Somerset - An Interior Design Project by Nanas Design Singapore

Having previously been awarded with Best Retail Interior Singapore for their store in Kampong Bahru, The Ice Cream Bar opens its second store in the prominent shopping centre in 313 Somerset on Orchard Road. With its playful arched structures and warmer colour palette, the store looks cosy and inviting to their target audience. The unit is only 454 square feet, therefore maximising the floorplate was one of the top design priorities. We adjusted to the millimetres to get the right operational as well as experiential space.

Gleneagles Hospital | Nanas Interior Design Singapore

Inspired by Dr. Harish Mithiran's commitment to minimally-invasive and robotic thoracic surgery, non-intrusive designs and elements were selected to respect his ethos. Offering latest technology thoracic surgery services at Gleneagles Hospital on a street-level with a lot of visibility, NEUMARK clinic is automatically exposed to a lot of patients visiting the hospital. We ensured it is pleasing to look into the clinic from every angle, but at the same time this became a design challenge to create sufficient consultation and storage areas that needed to be closed off. Hence, a wall that features a huge double opening sliding doors was introduced, inviting a full circle visual journey back to the reception counter which is adorned by Louis Poulsen snowball pendant light. Setting the ambiance for healing and latest technology, the tonal palette included soft grey and racing green.

Kampung Bahru 59 - An Interior Design Project by Nanas Design Singapore

When designing and building this ice cream bar in the lovely neighbourhood of Kampung Bahru, we set out to include elements that reflected the old world charm of the area. As a nod to the Straits-Chinese heritage exteriors of the shop houses with arched windows and wooden louvered shutters, we incorporated dark woods and warm browns to the interiors. Art deco elements and a custom neon light featuring the brand’s logo help to give the space a modern touch.

luxury interior design 1 - Omakase

We were tasked to upgrade this exclusive restaurant to create a more authentic, warm and welcoming atmosphere that visitors can enjoy spending time in. We commissioned a custom board that artistically hides the existing glass panel (that reveals the inside of the busy kitchen), and added various handmade Japanese-inspired decorations and art pieces. Light fixtures were added to create bright yet warm surroundings to enhance the whole dining experience.

luxury interior design 8 - VIP Lounge

It was really fun designing this ultra exclusive private lounge at the top floor of a hotel. Meant to host various private entertainments like dinners or karaoke nights, we knew everything had to be luxurious, made of the highest quality but still comfortable. We chose a neutral yet classic palette of whites and dark browns, with custom marble furnishings and chandeliers to elevate the place. Cove lightings kept the place feeling warm and inviting, while comfy sofas ensured you’ll never want to leave.

Adeventure Tree | Nanas Interior Design Singapore

Renovating and designing this start-up preschool involved many elements. As the structure was old, we had to demolish many walls to create wide, open spaces that children could enjoy. We also wanted to work within a budget so as not to over-tax this amazing start-up. High on our list was making sure everything was unique, cheerful and child-friendly. To achieve that, we painted colourful shapes and designs on the different walls to brighten up the space. The furniture chosen were all comfortable yet cute, with little extra touches like wavy tables. We also built a small playground with customised cushioned floors at the front of the school so the kids could have fun while at school.

luxury interior design 21 - Inside Scoop

For this flagship ice cream store, we wanted to make sure it reflected the sweet vibes of the brand. The entire space was decorated in pastel shades and sunny yellows. We also customised a cosy communal table under a skylight so patrons could enjoy the natural light. As the pièce de résistance, the entire store is filled with Instagrammable spaces; from the cheerful swing set in the middle to the custom neon signs with cute messgaes.

luxury interior design 35 - beauty salon

Whenever we take on a project, we always strive to first understand our client’s needs and wants. Before we started work on this lifestyle space that offers personalised beauty experiences, we sat down with founder of cAL Calin, who shared with us that lifestyle was going to be key to this project and she even wanted a bar in the middle of the unit and an area for kids. We decided to take advantage of the skylight the shophouse offered and built a gorgeous bar back with light wood and textured tiles. We also added in arches and soft hues of dessert pink to reflect Calin’s beauty and robust personality.

luxury interior design 7 - Rockon Tokyo

Small tweaks can often make a big difference. For this project, the client wanted us to style the entrance door to make it more appealing to customers whilst giving it some privacy. As we did not think a big change was needed, we added Japanese graphic sheet to the front door sheet and an elegant signage, which immediately transformed its appearance.

luxury interior design 23 - River Valley Office

The brief given to us by this branding company was to create a space for working, meetings as well as serve as short-term accommodations for overseas staff. We wanted a workspace that would allow people to chat and collaborate easily, so we designed an open concept area with bespoke desks for comfort. Sofas and communal tables gave off an easy ambience to encourage creativity, while powder coated black steel elements give the office a cool industrial vibe.

luxury interior design 1 - Japanese Association

Clubshops offer a large variety of products. The design has to be able to be easy to navigate while still highlighting products in their best light. Customers should be able to get what they need with ease while also be introduced to new products at the same time. The client had asked us to work on the new store design, style and Visual Merchandising Design for the store, so we recreated a modern yet luxurious interpretation of a Japanese supermarket, with neat shelves, tables for highlighting products and a chic cashier area.

Bugis Cube | Nanas Interior Design Singapore

We were asked to design this takeover space while still being budget friendly. To achieve that, we concentrated on what would make the most impact for a Japanese restaurant. We created a bespoke signage of the restaurant’s logo, with vivid red backdrop. We also added a dramatic pendant light in the private dining area. We created a wooden table for the counter seats, while traditional Japanese art and Bonsai were added to enhance the ambience.

luxury interior design 6 - Roppongi Office

When we designed and built this office space for an investment company, we knew we wanted to focus on practicality and function, with less distractions to take the focus off their work. Because of that, we kept to clean lines and minimalist interiors. We commissioned custom cabinetry and desks according to what the client needed most, while also creating a meeting area in the corner to maximise the use of space.

We were hired to create a Design Sales gallery with four show apartments. To reflect the image and concept of the developer’s product offering, the gallery’s exterior used greyge sleek frames, with large winows to showcase the openess. The double-height sales gallery was tied together with vertical fins and travertine cladded columns. A calculated open spacing was located at the centre to allow the hosting of various events, accompanied by the cocktail bar area on the side. Led by the angled marble staircase, various rooms for meeting and closing are located at L2, as well as office and staff rooms.

luxury interior design 18 - Mind ID

First impressions matter, so when designing and building this office space, we made sure that the entrance was quite literally welcoming. As an internationally minded trading company, we incorporated the word “welcome” in different languages onto the walls of the reception. Functionality is extremely important to us, so when we realised that the office tended to be echoing, we installed sound absorbing panels to make it a more pleasant work environment.

Alba Office | Nanas Interior Design Singapore

We were hired for a simple styling job by this Oil & Gas company that was entering the Singapore market for the first time. To help spruce up their office, we created a company sign for the entrance, as well as made a printed company sheet to decorate the wall.

Total Beauty M Lashes is a popular lash extension salon thanks to their high quality services and great results. For their 2nd anniversary, they requested we do a minor renovation for them to make the petite space more comfortable for clients with different needs. We wanted to create a feminine interior that patrons would love, so we added shades of pink throughout the salon, while giving it girly touches like a crystal lamp, furry pillows and pretty artwork.
